Warm & friendly spaces

Rising costs of living, particularly energy costs, are causing many people to be concerned about meeting the costs of keeping their homes and themselves warm.

Great Ness & Little Ness Parish Council is working with others to look at ways to provide somewhere warm for people to spend time with others, enjoy hot drinks and refreshments and save the cost of heating their homes.

The Warm Hubs will be open to everyone.

To establish demand, we need to know how many people:

  • will want to use Warm Hubs and how often.
  • will need transport to Hubs due to distance or other special needs
  • are prepared to volunteer with activities at the Warm Hubs
  • are prepared to help with transport needs.

We are talking to neighbouring Parishes about sharing arrangements for people at the fringes of the Parishes.
