Getting to school

We encourage children and parents to travel to school in a sustainable way i.e. walking all or part of the way, sharing lifts where possible or cycling. There is a cycle shed on the school grounds.

Childrens safety is paramount therefore please do not park on the verges and pavement outside the school gate. Additional parking is available on the Old Crescent with a walk way to school. Parents operate an unofficial one way system up Hopton Lane and down the Crescent at school drop off and collection time.

St Martins School - Rhyn Park, Moors Bank, St Martins, Oswestry, SY10 7DB

St Martins School St Martins School

Headteacher, Mr Keates explained: "This is a very exciting time for St Martins School, as we look to build on the excellent record of both Rhyn Park School and Ifton Heath Primary school. Our two departments are working together on a number of exciting 'cross phase' initiatives, utlising the expertise of primary and secondary staff to ensure that teaching, learning and outcomes for our students are tailored for each and every individual.

Within the secondary department examination results have continued to rise impressively over the past five years and in 2012 our students achieved the best results in the school's history with 92% of our students achieving five or more GCSE passes at the higher grades of C and above.
